Duncan Phillips are pleased to anounce that our adjoining neighbours' the New Inn, 58 Sun Street, are now open. After steadily watching its transformation the result has been acclaimed by all and we now have an attractive building that greets tourists to our historic town.
On the 17th November our MD Howard Green along with other businessmen, councillors, residents and those involved in the voluntary sector, were the guests of the owners, joined by their architects, at the “Champagne and Cocktails” event and celebrated the opening of “Parsons Restaurant” in Waltham Abbey and the arrival of chef and proprietor, Adebola Adeshina.
Ade, (pronounced Addy) as he is commonly known, has worked with many of the great chefs and will be offering a wide choice for discerning diners, menus being a la carte, lunch time and sharing versions offering a wide section of choice for the discerning or for the "simply ravenous palate" alike.
Howard and the Duncan Phillips staff, wish every success to all those concerned with the enterprise and hope that the enthusiasm, expressed at the launch, will spread to give the owners a wide clientele and offer Waltham Abbey a wonderful dining opportunity for local people: one that will also attract visitors to our historic town.
